Uit onderzoek blijkt dat 1 op de 10 vrouwen in Nederland tussen de 12 en 25 jaar weleens te weinig geld heeft voor menstruatieproducten. De Menstruation Stations zijn gevuld met maandverband en tampons in verschillende maten. Het idee is simpel: iedereen die producten nodig heeft, kan naar een Menstruation Station gaan en pakken wat die nodig heeft. Het is dan ook echt de bedoeling dat mensen een heel, ongeopend, pakje meenemen, zodat ze deze thuis kunnen gebruiken en terug kunnen komen wanneer het weer op is. Gratis mee te nemen voor wie het nodig heeft.
In samenwerking met Neighborhood Feminists, Project Fearless, Urban Talent Academy, XXX Touch Rugby en Survival Club Ruig Amsterdam zorgen wij ervoor dat de kastjes continue gevuld zijn voor diegenen die het nodig hebben.

The menstrual stations are filled with pads and tampons in different sizes. The idea is simple: anyone who needs can go to a Menstruation Station and grab what they need. It is therefore really the intention that people take a whole, unopened, package with them, so that they can use it at home and come back when it is finished again. No costs for those who need it.
